BUTTE COUNTY, CA (MPG) – The Butte County Library is excited to announce that beginning April 1, all library branches will extend their hours of operation.

This enhancement, adopted by the Butte County Board of Supervisors, was made possible by increased staffing funded through Measure H and will offer expanded access to library services for all Butte County residents.

“We are thrilled to provide this valuable service to our community,” said Misty Wright, Director of Libraries. “Thanks to the support of Measure H, we can offer more hours, ensuring our community has greater flexibility and access to the wide range of resources and programs we offer.”

The updated hours will improve access to books, educational programs, digital resources, and more.

The library is committed to continuing to serve as an essential resource for learning, enrichment, and community engagement.
