GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The Gridley Bulldog boys’ basketball team put on a dominating show in their D4 Northern Section California Interscholastic Federation (NSCIF) Boys’ Basketball playoff game against the Colusa RedHawks on Feb. 21.
The Bulldogs took control right from the opening tip as they displayed ferocity on defense and scored at will.
Throughout the entire game, the Bulldogs kept a tight grip on the RedHawks as they played tight, up-in-your-face defense and forced a plethora of turnovers and mistakes from the RedHawks. On offense, the Bulldogs scored with ease as they got to the basket consistently and had runouts leading to easy points.

After a lopsided score at halftime, the Bulldogs went on a 11-2 run to open the third quarter and made a mass substitution once the game was thoroughly in hand. In the end, the Bulldogs won with a final score of 63-31.
On Feb. 26, the Bulldogs hosted the West Valley Eagles, after press time, in a D4 NSCIF semifinal playoff matchup.
