OROVILLE, CA (MPG) – The Butte College Women’s Basketball team has dominated the first half of conference play. Entering the second half of the season, the Roadrunners are boasting an undefeated record in Golden Valley Conference play. Not only have the Roadrunners won all their conference matchups, but they have done so convincingly, securing each victory by double digits.

A major force behind Butte’s success has been the stellar performances of Giselle Rodriguez and Shade Satica.

Rodriguez has been a scoring machine, leading the team with over 20 points per game. Her ability to create shots and knock down key buckets has been instrumental in the team’s success.

Meanwhile, Satica has been a versatile powerhouse, averaging just under 20 points per game while also dominating the boards with over 10 rebounds per contest. She has also displayed impressive playmaking ability, leading the team with over five assists per game.

As the Roadrunners continue their march through the Golden Valley Conference, they look to maintain their high level of play and carry their momentum into the postseason. With their balanced attack, strong defensive presence, and standout performances from Rodriguez and Satica, Butte College is proving to be a serious contender.

Stay tuned as the Roadrunners aim to finish the season strong and make a deep playoff run.
