Bulldogs Boys Continue Strong Start

On Tuesday, Jan. 21 the Bulldogs headed to Live Oak to face the Lions in the first of two meetings between the rivals. The Lion defense was not nearly strong enough to stop the Bulldogs as they started and ended the game scoring at will.
After a 38-point first half from the Bulldogs, the scoring continued in the second and with a strong defensive effort from the Bulldogs, they walked away with a convincing 73-43 win. Junior Bikram Kullar led the Bulldogs with 14 points, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and three blocks.
On Friday, Jan. 24th the Bulldogs were home as they took on the Orland Trojans. The hot offense that got started against the Lions didn’t go away. The Bulldogs started the game blistering from the field, scoring 23 and 22 points in each of the first two quarters while only allowing five and nine points from the Trojans, giving the Bulldogs a 45-14 lead at halftime. The Bulldogs did not slow down, coming out of halftime as they scored 19 points to set up a breeze of a fourth quarter. The Bulldogs won 78-35.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to stay at home on Jan. 28, after press time, as the Oroville Tigers come to town. Then on Friday, Jan. 31, after press time, the Bulldogs travel to Las Plumas and have their rematch against the Thunderbirds. Both games are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
