Orchestra Concert to Celebrate 10 Years of Christmas Music

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The Sutter Buttes Family Orchestra will conclude its 10th anniversary celebration year with a concert featuring the orchestra's favorite Christmas music from the past 10 years.

The program will feature music from “Polar Express” and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” with a special appearance by the Grinch. Kari Wheeler will also sing “It's the Most Wonderful Time of Year.”

The concert will include a photo background for audience pictures. There are also rumors from the North Pole that Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by after the concert.

The free family-friendly concert is at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 400 Spruce St., Gridley.

The Sutter Buttes Family Orchestra is open to players of all ages, including beginners. For information on participating, contact Carol Brown at 530-370-0414.
