In partnership with SWCA Environmental Consultants, these groups are working together to create a comprehensive plan that incorporates community input to strengthen wildfire resilience and safeguard local resources.
Butte County invites community members to participate in two upcoming stakeholder workshops for the 2025 Community Wildfire Protection Plan update. These workshops provide an important opportunity for residents, local decision makers, fire management experts and other stakeholders to come together to discuss strategies for reducing wildfire risks across the county.

The first workshop will be on Oct. 8 at 765 East Ave., Chico. The second workshop will be on Oct. 9 at 78 Table Mountain Boulevard, Oroville. Both workshops will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a brief presentation and run until 7:30 p.m.
