GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Another popular event from past Butte County Fairs returns under the direction of Matt Reed, the Sportsman Expo.

In the past, the exhibit has featured an array of taxidermized game and foul, including mountain lions, large elk, and ducks.

The large display of wildlife, a result of the hunters’ skill, taxidermists’ interest, or a combination of both, has filled the fairgrounds Farmers Hall in the fair’s history.

This year, the Wild Outdoors Exhibit will feature mounts of Northern American wildlife and opens to the public on Thursday, Aug. 22.
