GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Patrons visiting Jake’s, the spot for adults to sit down and have a drink at the Butte County Fair, will see some new changes to the establishment.

Brian Bassett, who coordinates the entertainment at the Butte County Fair, shared with the Herald that Jake’s has expanded its offerings from beer to include a wider menu of alcoholic beverages, such as margaritas.

In addition, Jake’s will see the addition of large TV screens, reminiscent of sports bars and live music in the evenings. The line-up includes bands Industrial Drive, Legend, and Nathan Owens with his Motown & Soul Revue.

Bassett shares that the hope is the revamp to the bar will cause Jake’s to be “it” place in town during the fair and that he hopes that the public will enjoy the new additions.
