GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - The annual Red Suspenders Car Show filled two blocks of Downtown Gridley’s Kentucky Street with gleaming chrome, beautiful paint jobs, and creative workmanship.

The 2024 installment of the car show saw a big boost in numbers, said organizer Annette Boone: “This is the biggest one yet!”

Winners are as follows: Best Engine: James Lemer, ‘67 Chevelle, Best Interior: Charles Mayo, ‘62 Cadillac, Best Paint Job: Jim Little, ‘57 Ford Wagon, Best ‘40s: Darrel Parsley, ‘41 Graham Hollywood, Best ‘50s: Barbara Morten, ‘55 Chevy, Best Rat Rod: Mike Bueler, ‘39 Chevy, Best Pickup: Merritt Odor, ‘53 Ford Pickup, Best Chevelle: James Lemer, ‘67 Chevelle, Best Convertible: George Nickas, ‘64 Chevelle, Best in Show: Tiger Jones, ‘70 Shelby.

Winners were awarded after the Red Suspenders Day Parade, May 18.
