GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - North Valley 12U boys went on to win the Olivehurst Classic tournament. This is now back-to-back years North Valley has won this tournament.

Last year, the boys lost their first game to OBC Outlaws and battled back to win 6 in a row to win the championship. This year, the boys went on to win 3 in a row, beating the Diamond Dirtbags from Placerville 12-2, the Oroville Miners 10-6, and the Oroville Miners for the championship game 11-5. North Valley has started off hot this season with a record of 12-1.

They will be playing more games throughout the month gearing up for Redding's Tournament June 1-2, Woodland's tournament June 29-30 before gearing up for the World Series tournament hosted in Reno, NV July 18-21.
