GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - If you were looking for a great St. Patrick’s Day dinner, the Knights of Columbus had it!
The annual St. Patrick’s Day dinner was held on Saturday March 16, 2024, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parish Hall. There were generous servings of delicious corned beef, cabbage, red potatoes, carrots, rolls and salad.
There were also various beverages to choose from and cookies to satisfy your sweet tooth.
The choices to enjoy dinner were by drive up or dining in. The hall was festively decorated in shamrocks, leprechauns, and their gold. It was a delightful time catching up with friends and others in the community.
This dinner would not have been successful without the help of the many volunteers committed to helping raise funds. From arriving early in the morning and preparing the food to serving and cleaning up afterwords. The volunteers express their love for the community by contributing their time for others.
The Knights of Columbus have hosted the St Patrick’s Day Fundraiser Dinner for 25 years. The proceeds fund scholarships for schools in the Gridley, Biggs, and Live Oak area.
Charity is at the heart of their work, and they are committed to charitable services.
