Kirby Castagno (L) and Chance Nicolson, of Gridley, worked in the Texas Houston Mission, focusing on community service and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Chance Nicolson has completed a full-time mission in the Texas Houston Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served primarily in Houston, Cypress, College Station, and Magnolia.
Nicolson said, “Make plans and goals to become who God needs you to be. Improvement within ourselves and those around us will bring us the most peace and joy, despite what’s around us, because that is how we implement Christ in our lives the most."
Nicolson will first speak to the Liberty Ward congregation on Sunday, January 21, at 10:00 a.m. at 1259 French Ave. in Gridley. He will also speak that same day to the Young Single Adult congregation at 1:30 p.m. at 1480 Butte House Rd. in Yuba City. His parents are Melanie Little, Jared and Pam Nicolson, and Matt Little. His future plans are to attend BYU.
