GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Come enjoy ‘A Classical Christmas’ with our local Sutter Buttes Family Orchestra. They will be sharing a special orchestra arrangement of ‘Carol of the Bells’ featuring viola soloists John Paul Bowers and Christine Brown. 

The orchestra will be joined by guest vocalists Marysa Taylor singing ‘Gesu Bambino,’ Collette Hansen singing ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem,’ and others. The Sutter Buttes Brass, a brass quintet from Yuba City, will be performing several specially-arranged Christmas songs including ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas.’ The musical evening will also include a new Christmas song by Shawna Edwards, ‘When We Seek Him,’ sung by the Sutter Buttes Children’s Choir from Yuba City.

This free concert will be Friday, December 16 at 7:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 400 Spruce Street.  All are welcome.  The orchestra will gladly accept donations to cover the cost of music.
