GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – On Tuesday, November 29,  2022, Gridley Police Department discovered card skimming devices in the area.

The public notice posted to the Gridley Police Department’s Facebook page reads:

“On today’s date, Gridley Police Department responded to the Bank of America ATM located at 1516 SR-99 regarding a “Card Skimmer,” device located.

At 9:36 AM, the ATM was alerted of a malfunction and a technician was called out. Once the technician arrived at the ATM, the device was located and GPD was notified.

Please be aware of these devices being used.

According to the GPD statement, the device was attached above the ATM keypad.
