GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – The new SAVMOR store going in behind AM/PM off of Fairview Avenue in Gridley was expecting to be opening soon, but unfortunately, there has been some delays.

Speaking with the current store manager and future manager of the new facility, Kayla Parker, she says that the store is waiting on items such as shelving and basic equipment for store organization to arrive, which has been delayed. She expects that the opening date of the store, which is planned to be a soft opening, may not happen until sometime in September.

While the store is getting its final touches, such as the new SAVMORE signage, there looks to still be the matter of paving the parking lot and striping the parking spaces. 

The current location on Washington Street in Gridley is still open and ready to serve the community.
