Gridley Library Finds a Friend in Manzanita 4-H!

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – The Gridley Friends of the Library got more than a little help from some dedicated readers in the Manzanita 4-H group.
According to Christy Santillan, one of the advisors to Manzanita 4-H, the group had heard that the Gridley Friends of the Library books sale was in danger of being cancelled for lack of book donations. As part of 4-H’s mission to give back to their community through service, Santillan said that the group decided to “get them some books!”
The total number of books collected isn’t known, but Manzanita 4-H was able to gather 14 boxes overflowing with books to donate to the Friends of Library for a successful sale!
Manzanita 4-H would like to thank all of the community members that donated books to their cause, and ultimately, came to aid of the Gridley Friends of the Library.
