GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – What’s better than shopping local? Shopping local and having fun quality time with the family while doing so! You can do both by heading out to Wheelers Ranch and Feed to pick your perfect pumpkin this harvest season!

Wheelers has a variety of sizes to choose from, including large carving pumpkins, medium carving pumpkins, sugar/small pumpkins, fall decorative Cinderella pumpkins, fall decorative gourds and mini pumpkins. Your little ones will have a blast choosing their perfect pumpkin, taking pictures next to the painted signs, or on top of the giant pumpkin! This year’s HUGE pumpkin, an Atlantic Giant Pumpkin grown by Brian Werner of Biggs, CA, weighs in at a whopping 1425 lbs. and is a hit with all the kiddos that visit the ranch.

Unfortunately, this year Wheelers is not holding their annual Fall Festival, but they encourage families to come out, shop for the Halloween pumpkins, and visit with all the loveable (and pet-able) animals at the store. Pumpkins range from $1-$12 each, are farm-fresh and ready for carving! Don’t forget to visit their Boutique for something fun to wear to your next Fall get-together!
