GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – Gridley’s Farmers Market is the hot place to be in town – literally!

Those who brave the scorching heat the first Tuesday of every month will get rewarded with some really sweet treats. The Light House Church kept the kiddos chilled-out last time with free snow cones, and a waterslide bounce house, courtesy of Espinosa Jumpers, helping kids work off the sugar energy. Families enjoyed crafting with the Gridley LDS Church making bird feeders and the Seventh-day Adventists planting flowers. Bill Koehler even provided a cooking demonstration.

Taquiza Rosales made dinner easy with tasty tamales and tacos for sale.  There was something for everyone as they browsed farm fresh produce by Dhillon Farms, got crafty with Ginnie’s Creations, picked up some extra sparkle at Paparazzi or had a fragrant experience at the Scentsy booth – they don’t just do wax melts anymore by the way!
