GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – Butte County’s MVP, Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback for the Green Bay Packers has generously donated a million dollars to the North Valley Community Foundation to support the rebuilding efforts after the Camp Fire and Bear Fire. His philanthropic endeavors continue and now Rodgers has turned focus to small businesses ravaged by COVID-19 and a year of quarantining.

Rodgers and the NVCC have been working on small business grant funds, specifically helping those one-of-a-kind mom-n-pop shops keep their doors open. Apparently, 80 small businesses and retail establishments throughout Butte County received life-saving funds during the first phase of this grant process.

In his latest play, Rodgers will host Jeopardy for a two-week period. The show’s producers have reportedly agreed to donate the cumulative winnings from the 10-shows to the North Valley Community Foundation’s Small Business COVID-19 Fund. Both Rodgers and the NVCC hope that the total winnings donated to the NVCCSB COVID-19 Fund will help a second round of small businesses still struggling to get the help they need. Don’t miss Rodgers as Jeopardy’s host from April 5th to April 16th.
