GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Judging for the Gridley Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Light Contest is coming up this weekend!

Many have been asking the question, “How do I sign up for the Gridley Christmas light contest?” There are no signups for the contest this year. With the original contest restricting entries to just Hazel Street, there was no need for a sign-up form. Since the extension of the contest to the rest of the city was announced, the Chamber of Commerce is asking those who are actively participating in the contest and are concerned about being counted to call the chamber and notify them of their address. Especially if located outside the immediate city limits (for example: West of Randolph Ave., Larkin Rd., Sheldon Ave., Macedo Rd., Losser Ave., W. Liberty Rd.)

Judging will occur on the evening of December 12^th as Chamber members drive through town in order to name a winner. To participate, it is not necessary to do anything more than decorate and show your holiday spirit.
