Family Fun at The Station!
Oct 28, 2020 12:00AM ● By By Seti LongGRIDLEY, CA (MPG) – Cindy Stowe, owner of Cindy’s County & More, is planning a socially distanced outdoor Fall Event. The Station, home to Stowe’s store and located on the corner of Larking and E. Evans Reimer Road, will host the family-friendly festival on Saturday, October 31, from 10am – 3pm.
Stowe says, “I felt we needed something… Needed to get out of the house – if not just to wave to our neighbors!” And the people seem to agree! The Station Fall Event has quickly grown to include 17 vendors including crafts, wooden creations, essential oils, purses, Damsel in Defense gear, homemade goods and more! Stowe has encouraged the vendors to don costumes in honor of Halloween and expects many to have candy to hand out to any children visiting. Of course, Stowe is being careful to have her vendors socially distance on the large lot and feels that visitors will be safe since it’s an open-air event.
Manzanita Market and grill master Jose Ascencio will be firing up the grill for fantastic BBQ’d eats. Stowe encourages people to come out and support these small businesses and crafters in our area that currently have no public venue to showcase their goods. The event is free. Public parking is not available on sight so visitors will need to utilize area streets.
