A portion of Lower Wyandotte Road will be closed on Friday, July 31 while Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) continues work on a gas line. The northbound lane of Lower Wyandotte Road will be closed between Wyandotte Road and the Olive Highway from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday.

Northbound traffic on Lower Wyandotte Road will be diverted east along Wyandotte Road to Meyers Street to Oro Dam Boulevard. Southbound traffic will not be impacted.

The closure is necessary so that PG&E safely support a wooden distribution pole while crews excavate to work on a gas line to a commercial property. PG&E had previously closed the northbound lane of Lower Wyandotte Road on Wednesday, July 15 for the same project but has to continue the work.
