Red Suspenders Day Has Been Cancelled

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - It’s official. One of Gridley’s biggest celebrations, Red Suspenders Day, has been cancelled.
The Gridley Chamber of Commerce, who hosts the event honoring our Firefighters, made the announcement on April 4th. In a Facebook post, the Chamber says, “We wished and hoped, but it didn’t seem to be in the cards for this year. Sadly we had to make the choice to cancel this year’s Red Suspenders Day Parade. But don’t be sad, we’re gonna work twice as hard to make it better next year!”
This year’s Red Suspenders Day would have marked the 58th anniversary of the historic Gridley celebration.
