Gridley-Biggs Police Department Large Bust

The following is the official press release:
On February 28, 2020 at approximately 0743 hours, Officers with the Gridley-Biggs Police Department (GBPD) and Detectives with the Butte Interagency Narcotics Task Force (BINTF) served a multiple-residence search warrant for possession of controlled substances for sales at four locations in the Gridley area.
As a result of this multiple-residence search warrant, GBPD Officers and BINTF Detectives located in excess of two (2) ounces of crystal methamphetamine, liquid heroin and liquid methamphetamine. In addition, indicia of narcotics sales (digital gram scales, packaging materials and pay/owe records) as well as narcotics paraphernalia (methamphetamine smoking pipes and hypodermic syringes) were seized.
As a result of this multiple-residence search warrant, the following individuals were arrested and booked into Butte County Jail:
Jessica Rene Valdez, 42, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, using a place of residence to sell controlled substances, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a specified controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and committing a criminal offense while out on bail.
Jason Patrick Coy, 44, was arrested for an outstanding felony arrest warrant for a parole violation.
Dawn Marie Stevens, 44, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charles Edward Kester, 56, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, using a place of residence to sell controlled substances, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a specified controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
David Santos, 32, was arrested for an outstanding felony arrest warrant for a felon being in possession of a firearm and possession of stolen property.
Robert Richard McDonald, 37, was arrested for possession of specified controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sarah Marie McCarty, 34, was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and failure to appear in court.
Steven Gerald Edwards, 47, was arrested for probation violation, for possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
