Gridley Welcomes New Officer

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Gridley Biggs Police Department is welcoming yet another officer to their ranks. Police Chief Al Byers introduced the new officer to the City Council at Monday’s City Council meeting.
Officer Ruben Quihuiz has 15 years of experience and comes to the Gridley-Biggs Police Department by way of the Oroville Police Department. Chief Byers expressed to the council that he has had the pleasure of serving with Officer Quihuiz for 8 years during his time spent with Oroville PD and is excited for him to join the GBPD family. Byers spoke highly of the officer, relating to the council that he has known Quihuiz to exhibit a high level of professionalism while performing his duties.
Officer Quihuiz graciously thanked the council for the opportunity to serve the community of Gridley.
