Biggs High School Baseball and Softball Recognized at Awards Night

BIGGS, CA (MPG) - Biggs High School baseball and softball has come to an end for the 2019 season. With a night to remember, Monday, May 20th, Wolverine athletes were recognized for what they accomplished on the diamond. Kameron Smith, Bryson Roles, Hunter Roles, Gregg Slusser, Angel Sanchez, and Camren Jackson were all recognized as All-League recipients in the Mountain Valley League.
Seniors Megan Collins and Hunter Roles were awarded top honors as the Mountain Valley League All-League Most Valuable Players for softball and baseball. Collins plans to attend Shasta College next year to play basketball. Roles is undecided on which college to attend next year, but plans on playing baseball at the next level.
Other notable Wolverines who will be continuing their athletics at the next level are Angel Sanchez and Brendan Anthony who have both committed to play baseball at West Hills Community College in Coalinga, California.
