GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Doctor Brenda Gebhard and staff are pleased and excited to welcome Doctor Chris Swanson as the new owner of Milbradt Veterinary Hospital.

Doctor Chris Swanson is a native Californian and a graduate of the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine class of 2013. He and his spouse Brittany made their home and started their young family together in the Fresno area. Considering the successful record established by Milbradt over the years and himself a life-long outdoorsman and avid duck hunter, Chris chose Milbradt in Gridley as an attractive opportunity for practice ownership and a successful career in California, close to family and the diverse outdoor opportunities unique to our area.

Apart from other prospective buyers Doctor Gebhard selected Doctor Swanson as her successor and fully believes that Chris is an excellent fit for the practice and community, and is committed to the continued success of the practice. She will continue to work and see clients at the hospital for a time while Doctor Swanson transitions in and gets comfortable.

Doctor Swanson intends to continue to practice at Milbradt employing the same business model proven so successful for his predecessors, and continue to provide a valued service to the community. He and Brittany are anxious to meet their new neighbors and to start a new and exciting chapter in their lives raising their family, operating their new business and as new members in our community.

It is with mixed emotions that Doctor Gebhard bids farewell and passes ownership of Milbradt Veterinary Hospital to an enthusiastic fresh new Doctor, but with knowing that it will be in able, compassionate and caring hands enduring as it has since Doctor Milbradt first opened shop nearly 70 years ago.
